Ingredienten:

Iron (in form of iron fumarate)	10 mg
Vitamin C	30 mg
Citrus bioflavonoid complex	10 mg

Iron is vital, in trace amounts, for proper, healthy functioning of the metabolism, as it plays an important role in the structure and function of hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is the component of blood responsible for transporting oxygen from the lungs to all the cells of the body. Most of the iron in our system is bound to hemoglobin. In addition to this important function, iron also plays a role in the formation of ferritin, hemosiderin, myoglobin and several different enzymes.

Like many other minerals and trace elements, iron absorption is greatly enhanced when it is bound to an organic acid in a form known as “chelated” form. Iron fumarate is an example of chelated iron. Vitamin C and bioflavonoids may also help support the absorption and utilization of iron.
